Silvia E. Stanley, 65, of Marion, passed away in her home on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was born in Berlin, Germany, on Thursday, April 21, 1960, to Hans-Otto and Renatta (Funk) Scharff. On November 11, 1988, she married Darral P. Stanley, who survives.
She loved gardening, her work as a beautician, traveling the world, and most of all, her family. A meticulous homemaker, she filled her home with joy and care. She carried herself with grace and had an eye for fashion. She was protective and strong and remained a supportive wife and resilient woman until the end.
Silvia is survived by her husband, Darral P. Stanley of Marion; parents, Hans-Otto and Renatta Scharff; son, Jermaine (Brittany) Stanley; grandchildren, Ja’Nylah, Jaidon, Joshy, Pierre; sister, Patricia Scharff; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will host a memorial visitation at a later date.
