PERU, IN- On Monday, November 24, 2025, community leaders, board members, volunteers and residents gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to officially announce the opening of The Father's House, a men's sober living home, at 70 West 2nd Street in Peru.
This is the second home The Father's House 5:16 has opened, with the first home located in Logansport, IN.
Vision:
The Father's House was born from the need for a safe and stable living for likeminded men in recovery.
Their vision is to meet individuals where they are in their recovery process, faith journey, and to help them connect with God; and to trust in his healing power while on their road to recovery.
The team and programs are built to equip men in authentic manhood based on biblical foundations while working through financial issues, healthy relationship skills, physical fitness and encouraging a deep abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
They encourage men to stay in contact with the program and maintain these relationships even after they finish their stay.

The Father's House mission is to provide a stable and structured Christian living environment to assist men in their effort to repair relationships, rebuild physical and mental health and restore a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ.
