MIAMI COUNTY, IN- The Miami County Community Foundation invites community members to come together on Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, for a day of generosity, gratitude, and good company.
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., MCCF representatives will be at the Peru Civic Center, 225 E Riverside Drive in Peru, for visitors to stop in, share in the celebration, and learn about the impact of local giving. A catered lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering a chance for friends, neighbors, and donors to connect over food and fellowship.
During lunch, the Foundation will also present the 2025 Lifetime Philanthropy Award, honoring an individual whose generosity and leadership have made a lasting difference in Miami County.
“Giving Tuesday is more than a day to give,” said Cheryl Broyles, Miami County Community Foundation Director of Development. “It’s a celebration of community spirit and hope for the future. Each donation plants a seed that grows into lasting impact for generations to come.”
On Giving Tuesday, any gift to a new or existing Miami County Community Fund will be matched $2 for every $1 donated and will also unlock a dollar-for-dollar local match of up to $1,000 that can be applied to the MCCF fund(s) of the donor’s choice! Those starting a new community fund with at least $1,500 will receive an additional $500 for that fund. Matching opportunities are only available while funds last.
Each gift helps expand local grantmaking and strengthens organizations that serve Miami County residents all year long.
Those unable to attend in person can still participate by calling 765.470.1778 to arrange a gift or by donating online at www.nicf.org.
