PERU, IN- Recently, Arby's in Peru selected the United Way of Miami County as the recipient of its current fundraiser. Arby's gives back through the AES Foundation, which is an Arby's franchisee-funded initiative to support local communities. Funds are collected from customers through donations and roundups at participating AES-owned Arby's locations, and all money is dispersed to local non-profits chosen by employees. The foundation also holds Day of Giving events where they donate significant sums to multiple local charities.
Employees presented a check for $790 to United Way Board Member Amy Million. These funds will provide critical support of our initiatives which focus on food and financial security, education, health and wellness.
