GRANT COUNTY, IN- On 10/7/2025 an arrest was made after an investigation conducted by the J.E.A.N. Team Drug Task Force related to dealing methamphetamine. Information from this investigation led to a search warrant being executed at a Summitville address. The J.E.A.N. Team Drug Task Force was assisted in this investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Fairmount Police Department, Marion Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, and the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office.
Dennis Keefer, age 63 of Summitville was transported to the Grant County Jail and charged with the following;
Count 1; Dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony.
Count 2; Dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony.
During the course of the investigation, approximately 4 ounces (112 grams) of suspected methamphetamine was seized. Packaging materials, items of suspected drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana were also seized.
This investigation is ongoing.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
