Melissa Marie Hartman, 60, of Markle, Indiana, died 3:11 pm, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Markle Health and Rehab. She was born on December 11, 1964, in Kosciusko County, Indiana, to Thomas and Patricia (Clark) Hartman.
Melissa spent most of her life in Pathfinder Services. She enjoyed music, animated shows, and stuffed animals. She loved her housemates and staff.
She is survived by her sister, Michelle Kistler of Pierceton, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kimberly, and brother, Kevin.
There will be a celebration of Melissa's life from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Indiana. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana.
