WABASH, IN — Fire Line Productions is proud to present the timeless comedy Arsenic & Old
Lace at the historic Eagles Theatre this September. Audiences are invited to enjoy a weekend
of wit, charm, and theatrical mischief with three performances: Friday, September 12 at 7:30
PM, Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 PM, and a matinee on Sunday, September 14 at 2:00
PM.
Written by Joseph Kesselring, Arsenic & Old Lace is a darkly hilarious farce that follows
Mortimer Brewster, a theatre critic who discovers that his sweet old aunts have a shocking
secret buried in their basement—and that’s only the beginning. With eccentric relatives, a
murderous plot, and non-stop laughs, this production promises an unforgettable night at the
theatre.
Directed by Lindsay Rice, the show features a talented regional and local cast and a creative
team committed to bringing this classic story to life in all its outrageous glory.
“This is a show that keeps audiences laughing from start to finish,” says Rice. “It’s quirky,
fast-paced, and full of surprises—perfect for anyone who loves clever comedy.”
Arsenic & Old Lace is presented by Fire Line Productions with generous support from a
dedicated group of local sponsors who make community theatre possible. We extend heartfelt
thanks to Tipton Ford, Rebekah Slack-O’Neil of Miles Realty Group, Hawkins Family Farm,
