WABASH, IN – Crossroads Bank is excited to officially welcome Kristina Bubb to the team full-time as their new Deposit Operations Specialist/Fraud. Kristina began her career with them last summer as a Fraud Analyst Intern through the Wabash County Fellowship Program. During her time as a fellow, Kristina made an immediate impact. Her work in fraud prevention helped strengthen internal processes, analyze trends, and support the overall efforts of our Compliance Department.
Kristina recently graduated from Manchester University, where she earned both a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master of Science in Business Administration. She consistently made the Dean’s List throughout college and finished her degrees with honors, reflecting her strong academic performance.
The Wabash County Fellowship Program connects college students with hands-on internships across Wabash County, giving them opportunities to build meaningful careers and establish lasting ties with the community. Kristina’s journey is a great example of the program’s success. They’re thrilled to have her back and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in this new role.
“The Wabash County Fellowship Program has been rooted in collaboration since its inception as an initiative of the Imagine One 85 implementation efforts. As the Program finishes up its second year, partnerships with companies such as Crossroads Bank are what continue to make the Program successful. Many of the Fellows from the 1st year have continued interning with their employer, returned to the area after graduation, or in Kristina’s case, returned to work full-time for the employer they interned for during the Fellowship Program. Kristina’s full-time employment with Crossroads is exactly what the Program has aimed to accomplish since the beginning. We are thrilled for Kristina and appreciative of Crossroads’ continued efforts to support the Wabash County community.” – Conner Hindman, Imagine One 85 Project Manager.
