WABASH, IN- The Wabash County Museum invites the community to an unforgettable evening at the 4th
annual Museum Under the Stars event on Friday, September 20, from 7 to 10 p.m. Wabash’s
biggest party of the year will take place directly in front of the Museum on East Market Street.
This year’s event will support the interior restoration of the 1920s-era caboose, one of the
Museum’s most beloved artifacts. The restoration will preserve the historic charm of the
railcar while integrating interactive virtual technology, allowing visitors to “take a ride”
through time. Once complete, the caboose will serve as a hands-on educational space for
students and visitors alike.
Museum Under the Stars guests will enjoy live music by Alicia Pyle and Stephanie Carlson,
performing on the McKillip Machinery stage. Activities will allow guests to try their luck at the
popular gift card wall (which includes gift cards in various amounts from more than 30 area
vendors), participate in the raffle to win unique museum experiences, and capture the
evening with the new photobooth experience by Harmon Photography.
Beverage service will include Market Street Grill’s mobile bar, The Franklin, and non-alcoholic
drink options from The Sweet Shack. A four-course dinner, prepared by Two Board Sisters,
will be served at guests tables featuring:
● Course 1: Homemade bread & specialty olive oils from JoJo’s Olfactory & Co.
● Course 2: Crisp Caesar salad with crunchy croutons
● Course 3: Charcuterie wheels delivered to each table, loaded with Caprese sandwiches,
smoked salmon, artisanal meats & cheeses, and more
● Course 4: Gourmet desserts to end the evening on a sweet note
Guests can also relax in curated lounge vignettes by Kelli Winer Designs.
The Museum is proud to recognize its Innovation Partners: Wabash Carnegie Public Library,
First Farmers Bank & Trust, Heartland REMC, and Terrell Realty Group, as well as
Honeywell Arts & Entertainment for in-kind support. To make the evening even more
accessible for parents, the Wabash County YMCA will host a Parents Night Out. Families can
register at www.wabashmuseum.org/PNO.
Tickets are available for tables of 12, 8, or 6, as well as individual and couple seating.
Reservations can be made at www.wabashmuseum.org/muts.
Join the Museum for a night of food, music, and community — all under the stars — as Wabash
comes together to help bring the historic caboose back to life.
