Juanita E Stephenson, 83, Fowlerton, passed away in her home at 8:25 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. She was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, on Sunday, October 19, 1941, to Ora Alfred Swim and Tansy (Biglow) Bishop.
Juanita graduated from Fairmount High School and worked for 31 years at Fairmount Wire. She really liked purses, books and QVC shopping. She loved her flowers and her dogs, Cory and Brody.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Larry R Stephenson of Fowlerton; daughter, Tracy L (Don) Brown of Upland; grandchildren, Jason Lowe, Adam Lowe, Kimberly (Timothy) Bickel; great-grandchildren, Joseyln Lowe, Lucian Lowe, Josiah Lowe, Skyler Lowe, Lexie Bickel, and Jesse Bickel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora Alfred Swim and Tansy Bishop; as well as brothers, Ronald Swim and Larry R. Swim.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Juanita's life will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
