John William Wheeler, 55, of Marion, passed away at 11:30 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Bradenton, Florida, on Wednesday, August 20, 1969, to John and Melanie (Broxson) Wheeler.
John was a fan of NASCAR and especially liked cheering on Jeff Gordon.
John is survived by his daughter, Cassie Williams of Lebanon; son, Clayton Wheeler; sister, Angela Tambone-Vanzo; brothers, Dennis Wheeler, Jason Wheeler, and Whitney Wheeler; grandson, Cayden Williams; granddaughters, Cora Williams and Layla Loveland; life partner, Rebecca Hamilton; and step-daughter, Tara Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Wheeler, II, and Melanie (Broxson) Wheeler.
At John's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
