Destination Wabash County announces ThriveIN Wabash County podcast

WABASH, IN — Destination Wabash County, the non-profit extension of Visit Wabash County, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Wabash County, is proud to announce the release of a new podcast, ThriveIN Wabash County. The podcast is hosted by the President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Wabash County, Alex Downard, Visit Wabash County Board President, Adam Stakeman, and Executive Director of Visit Wabash County and Destination Wabash County, Christine Flohr. The podcast features episodes that highlight innovation, entrepreneurship, placemaking, and quality-of-life initiatives. From new business launches to grassroots revitalization efforts, ThriveIN captures the spirit of a county on the rise. The weekly podcast is not just talking about change but talking to the people making it happen. “We wanted to create something that captures the energy, resilience, and innovation of this community,” said Downard. “ThriveIN Wabash County is more than a podcast; it’s a celebration of the people, past and present, who make Wabash County extraordinary.” Each episode will feature local voices from entrepreneurs and educators to civic leaders and passionate residents sharing what it means to thrive in Wabash County. Each host wi l take turns hosting one episode a month as a way to cover a plethora of topics. Once a month, the trio will come together to recap what they have learned, interview a shared guest, or take a deep dive into a challenge the county is facing. New episodes are released every Tuesday, and the show is available on all major streaming platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. “This is about elevating authentic voices and providing a platform for progress,” added Stakeman. “Each episode feels like sitting down with a neighbor—real, unscripted, and full of heart.” The podcast is a new endeavor for the three hosts, and it falls outside their wheelhouse.
