Susan Rose "Sue" White, 83, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center in North Manchester. She was born on June 30, 1941, in Wabash, Indiana, to Francis and Rose Agnes (Bellock) Harris.
Sue married James A. Treska in Wabash on November 24, 1961; he died September 26, 1997. She later married Robert Eugene White in Wabash on December 1, 1999; he died March 30, 2020. Sue was a retired registered nurse at Vernon Manor Children's Home. She attended St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in North Manchester. Sue was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards. She also enjoyed fishing, baking, making candy and birthday cakes.
She is survived by three children, Bob (Robyn) Treska of Huntington, Indiana, Rick (Zaida) Treska of Wabash, and Beth (Frank) Driscoll of Urbana, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jason Treska, Tiffany (Jose) Corrales, Justin (Mandy) Treska, Joe (Cierra) Treska, Sarah (Dustin) Lee, Anna (Joe Hoffman) Driscoll, and Daniel Driscoll; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Derryberry of Logansport, Indiana, Karen Keenan of Covington, Kentucky, Patty Hoagland and John Harris, both of Urbana, Indiana, Marijane (Jay) Setser of Huntington, Indiana, and Linda Leach of Urbana. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Earl Harris and Larry Harris, sister, Judy Mae Harris, and brothers-in-law, Herb Derryberry, Brendan Keenan, and Frank Hoagland.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 1203 State Road 114 East, North Manchester, Indiana, with Father Daniel Koehl officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call Monday, June 30, 2025, 4:00-7:00 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, Indiana and 10-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church with a Rosary service at 10:30 am.
Preferred memorials are Vernon Manor Rehabilitation Center or the Crestwood Fund at Timbercrest.
