Joseph Paul Campbell, 88, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:30 am, Monday, June 16, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 12, 1936, in Colchester, Vermont, to Robert and Theresa (Piche) Campbell.
Joseph was a US Air Force veteran. He married Wanda Friend in Wabash on February 22, 1986. He was a life insurance agent with Farm Bureau Insurance, and various other insurance companies. He also was a retired bus driver for Area 5 Head Start. Joseph attended Christian Heritage Church. He was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Notre Dame fan. Joseph was a loving husband and father and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Campbell of Wabash; seven children, Michelle Cordell of Texas, Karen (Stu) Tuttle of Mississippi, Tim Campbell of Nappanee, Indiana, Sherrie Mossman of Florida, Carllus Adkins of Colorado, Julie Coldren of Texas, and Michael (Jenny) Coldren of Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
There will be Celebration of Joseph's life at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Christian Heritage Church, 2776 S. River Road, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
