2025 Spanish Resource Guide announced

WABASH, IN - Visit Wabash County, Wabash County Diversity Coalition, and Grow Wabash County’s Leadership Development Cohort Volunteer group are pleased to announce the release of the collaborative 2025 Spanish Resource Guide, a 40-page magazine-style guide that showcases the amenities of al of Wabash County completely in Spanish. The guide, now available in both print and online formats, highlights the many amenities, businesses, attractions, and services that make Wabash County a vibrant place to live, work, and play, and is entirely in Spanish. The guide also includes listings of dining, shopping, entertainment options, local healthcare, education resources, housing resources, community services, outdoor recreation, and more! “The Spanish Resource Guide emerged out of a desire to connect Spanish-speaking individuals to resources and opportunities in Wabash County,” said Mackenzie Coulter-Kern, director of the Wabash County Diversity Coalition. “Our hope is that the resource guide is another way to connect people, places, and businesses with the resources they need to thrive, feel welcome, and make a home in Wabash County. The project was initiated during a marketing consortium meeting. Heather Cruz, executive director for Manchester Alive, shared the need for a resource in Spanish since one-sixth of the population in North Manchester is Spanish-speaking. Members of the Grow Wabash County Leadership Development Cohort, who identified language accessibility as a key priority for fostering a more welcoming environment, volunteered to take on the project. Working in partnership with the Wabash County Diversity Coalition and Visit Wabash County, the team developed the guide to ensure accurate and culturally relevant content. “We all win and benefit when we can access the resources we need and collaborate more efficiently, regardless of the language we speak,” said Coulter-Kern. “Thank you to Visit Wabash County and to all of the other organizations and individuals who contributed to the creation of this guide."
