Karen A. Jones Budney, 64, of Palm Desert, California, died at 9:30 am, Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 20, 1960, in Wabash, to Clarence and Virginia (Parrett) Jones
Karen was a 1979 graduate of Southwood High School. She married Edward A. Budney in New Rochelle, New York on September 22, 2008; he died December 29, 2018. Karen enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her family, her many friends and her bible study group.
She is survived by her siblings, Sandy (Vicki) Jones of Leesburg, Indiana, and Nancy (Jerry Welsh) Jones of Wabash; two step children and two grandchildren; three nephews, Nicholas (Melissa) Jones of Lebanon, Indiana, Blake Jones of Leesburg, and Zachary (Stephanie) Jones of Pierceton, Indiana; great nieces and nephew, Ryan Jones, Audrina Jones, Chloe Jones, and Kelsie Jones. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
