Steven E. Kostyo, 72, of Andrews, passed away at 1:50 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor in Marion. He was born in Warren, Ohio, on Thursday, September 18, 1952, to Steven and Irene (Stall) Kostyo. On January 18, 1989, he married Sarah E. (Hall), who survives.
Steven graduated from Warren City Schools and worked at Kraft Made. He enjoyed gardening, fishing on Lake Erie, and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Steven also loved hunting deer and playing the Ohio Lottery.
Steven is survived by his wife, Sarah E. Kostyo of Andrews; sons, Gregory Kostyo of Warren, OH, and Steven Michael Kostyo of New York, NY; step-daughters, Beth (Robert) Sheely of Andrews, Tracie Paugh, and Amy (Bill) Mahoney; grandchildren, Ryan (Taylor) Bennett of Newton Falls, OH, Brett Bennett of Newton Falls, OH, Joshua Bennett of Hubbard, OH, Derek (Ivy) Bennett of Hubbard, OH, Sarah (Michael) Pratt of Mansfield, OH, Cody (Victoria) Sheely of Marion, Sidney Wright of Newton Falls, OH, Billy Wright of Newton Falls, OH, Jacob Wright of Newton Falls, OH, and Nicholas Wright of Newton Falls, OH; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Ilona (late John) Mott of Newton Falls, OH; brothers, Thomas (Mary Beth) Kostyo of Arlington, OH, and Robert (Kathie) Kostyo of El Cajon, CA; and sister-in-law, Carol (Garry) Greathouse of Warren, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Kostyo; mother, Irene A. Kostyo; and step-son, Henry R. Bennett.
At Steven's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
