Salamonie Lake’s Senior Monday Luncheon, June 2
ANDREWS, IN- The Senior Monday Luncheon will be held at noon, June 2 at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA. This program is designed for anyone age 50 or older.
The program titled “Finding Cracked Nuts in the Family Tree” is sure to inspire attendees to investigate their own family history. Will you find average everyday nuts, rotten nuts, or heroic mighty nuts growing forward into the future? Presenter Lynnanne Dennison-Fager began her family tree climbing 43 years ago. A simple hobby turned obsession in 2000 now brings her conversations to all the “glorious” things she finds out about her ancestors and other trees she shakes as well.
The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their table service. The main dish of pulled pork will be provided by Friends of Upper Wabash Interpretive Services. Donations are accepted to help cover expenses.
Seating is limited. Reservations may be made by calling 260-468-2127.
Upper Wabash Interpretive Services is located at 3691 New Holland Road, Andrews, 46702.
Participants should expect to pay the $7 (Indiana plate) daily gate fee or purchase an annual permit to enter all State Park properties during 2025.
