Dallas Allen, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died at 10:20 am, Friday, May 23, 2025, at The Waters of Fort Wayne. He was born on September 11, 1939, in Manchester, Kentucky, to Arthur and Lula (Robertson) Allen.
Dallas married Linda McClintic in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 31, 1986. He worked more than 30 years at GE/Lockheed Martin, retiring in June 2000; and worked part time in the bindery at Chromasource. Dallas loved to tinker and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed listening to country music and bluegrass, camping, going to the lakes, and buying and selling boats.
He is survived by wife, Linda Allen of Fort Wayne; two children, Troy (Dee Dee) Bahler of McKinney, Texas, and Tracy (Jim) Minnick of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Casey Minnick and Amber Minnick; and great-grandchildren, Izzy, Kirk and Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dallas Allen; and two brothers, Parker and Herschel Allen.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 30, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1-2 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
