Linda Lou McBride, 71, of rural Roann, Indiana, died at 8:52 am, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on January 18, 1954, in Arlington, Virginia, to Albert Philip "Phil" and M. Louise (Hampton) Weeks.
Linda was a 1973 graduate of Northfield High School, and received a nursing degree from Ivy Tech. She married Timothy Jay McBride on August 12, 1976 in Stockdale, Indiana. She worked and retired from Timbercrest Senior Living Community in North Manchester, Indiana. Linda enjoyed shopping, antiquing, decorating her home, reading, camping, hiking, and entertaining company. She especially loved her pets, particularly her dog, Roscoe.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Jay McBride of Roann; three children, Trina (Scott McDonald) McBride of Winona Lake, Indiana, Philip (Tiffany) McBride of Roann, and Jeff (Melissa Ford) McBride of Fairborn, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandra Gidley.
