WABASH COUNTY, IN- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a section of State Road 13 in Wabash County will be closed for maintenance repairs starting today, Monday, April 28.
The department says the closure will be between County Road 700 North and County Road 800 North, near North Manchester, as crews work on bridge deck patching on S.R. 13.
The work is expected to be complete by the first week of May, though all work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
In Huntington County, INDOT says a section of State Road 218 will be closed for maintenance work beginning Tuesday, April 29.
According to the department, the closure will be between I-69 and State Road 9, west of Warren, as crews complete a pipe replacement on S.R. 218.
The work is expected to last through mid-May, though all work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT says drivers should use the official detour of I-69, State Road 5, State Road 124 and S.R. 9, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution, and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
