85 Hope receives Community Foundation Good Deeds Grant
WABASH, IN – 85 Hope Free Medical Clinic is proud to announce that it has been
awarded a Good Deeds Grant from the Community Foundation of Wabash County. This
grant will provide crucial funding to support 85 Hope’s mission of delivering free healthcare
services to uninsured and underinsured residents of Wabash County.
The Good Deeds Grant, a program designed to assist nonprofit organizations in meeting the
basic needs of local citizens, will enable 85 Hope to expand its services, enhance medical
resources, and continue offering compassionate care to those in need.
"We are incredibly grateful to the Community Foundation for recognizing the importance of
accessible healthcare in our community," said Evyonne Smith, Executive Director of 85 Hope.
"This grant will allow us to reach more individuals and provide essential medical services that
improve lives."
85 Hope has been serving Wabash County since 2011, offering free healthcare to the uninsured
and underinsured adults aged 18 – 64 by providing primary care, medical consultations,
prescriptions and health education. With the support of the Good Deeds Grant, the clinic will be
able to continue to provide these services to qualifying adults in Wabash County.
The Community Foundation of Wabash County’s Good Deeds Grant program supports
nonprofit organizations that address urgent community needs and create enrichment
opportunities for those with limited resources.
