It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Christine T. Harte. She went into the loving arms of Jesus peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the age of 74 at 11:18 am.
Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Chris loved spending time in her yard, loving her animals, including her chickens, spending countless hours in her garden, sitting by a campfire, watching her hummingbirds, and watching her flowers grow. She also enjoyed canning and baking.
Chris touched the lives of all she met. A selfless, generous, caring, and gentle soul, Chris took care of everyone around her. She was met by so many family members who preceded her in death, including her mother, Goldie; father, John; sister, Barbi Varhegyi; and both of her sons, John Coolman and David Coolman.
She is survived by her husband, Klaus; daughters, Amy Coolman and Beth (Dan) Brown; grandsons, Kevin Coolman of MI, Caleb Brown of Fort Wayne, and Cameron Brown of Fort Wayne; brother, Donald (Cathy) Belik of NC; and many other family members who love her dearly.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a date in the near future in her garden.
