Edwin Ray Webb, 69, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 9:38 am, Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash. He was born on December 18, 1955, in Kentucky, to Rev. Bobby Ray and Anna L. (Blair) Webb.
Eddie was a 1975 graduate of Wabash High School. He worked for more than 25 years at the Wabash County Highway Department, several years with the Indiana Department of Transportation, and was a contract driver for other industrial and agricultural companies. Eddie was a former member of Wabash Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid movie fan such as: Rocky movies, Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal films, but the most important thing to him was spending time with his family.
He is survived by three children; Christopher (Heidi) Webb of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Lesley Webb of Wabash, and Zachary (Jamie) Webb of Columbia City, Indiana, four grandchildren; Harrison Webb and Liam Webb, both of Fort Wayne, and Conner Webb and Cayden Webb, both of Wabash, and his brother, Pastor Timothy (Mary) Webb of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Terry Webb.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Webb officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:00 - 11:00 am, Saturday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are Southside Free Will Baptist Church, or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
