Lois Ann Revis, 86, Gas City, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Jonesboro, Indiana, on February 1, 1939, to Lawrence and Ola (Howard) Revis.
She graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked for 17 years with United Technologies in Huntington. Lois was a member of XYZ from Twin City Baptist Church. She loved collecting stamps and loved jewelry, especially rings. She also loved dogs and her cat. She enjoyed meeting friends at Richards Restaurant and playing cards. Although Lois didn't have the title of "grandma" her family gave her the name of "Granny Aunt" as she was more like a grandma to her family than an aunt. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ola Revis; brothers, Clyde E. Revis and Lawrence Franklin Revis, Jr.; and sisters, Nora M. Revis, Genevieve Humerickhouse, and Patricia J. Roth.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Lois' life will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
