Jerry Dean Clark, 86, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, died at 5:43 pm, Friday, September 6, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on November 26, 1937, in North Manchester, Indiana, to Cyril and Marie (Williams) Clark.
Jerry was a 1956 graduate of Chester High School in North Manchester. He married Sharon Ann Creager on November 10, 1956 in North Manchester; she died January 28, 2016. Jerry worked and retired from General Telephone after 20 years. He also worked at Gaerte Fertilizer and was a farmer. Jerry loved everything outdoors. He enjoyed tinkering with his tractors, and going to tractor pulls.
He is survived by two children; Gary Clark of North Manchester, and Debra Hutter of Warsaw, Indiana, two grandchildren; Matthew Hutter and Lindsey Carter, both of Warsaw, two great-grandchildren; Arlo Carter and Nevan Carter, both of Warsaw, and sister, Linda (Bob) Montel of Warsaw. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Jim Clark, John Clark, and Frank Clark.
Services will be private to the family. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester.
