
Jeffrey Stevens, 56, Marion, passed away at 3:50 am on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, September 11, 1967, to Jerry and Mary (Veazey) Stevens.
Jeffrey graduated from Mississinewa High School and then joined the United States Navy. He later served in the Indiana National Guard. Following his military service, he worked as a Pest Control Technician with American Pest Control. He was part of the 1986 Mississinewa football "mud fighting" Indians.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Mary Stevens of Jonesboro; estranged wife, Lisa Stevens; daughter, Krystal Sizemore; grandchildren, Makenna Sizemore and Leighsen Sizemore; step-daughter, Anna Maine; step-son, Charles (Kay Lin) Darby; step-grandchildren, Gabriel Darby, Keira Maine, and Ely Maine; brother, Chris Stevens; brother-in-law, David Tribbett; uncles, David Veazey and Larry (Carol) Stevens; aunt, Judy Stevens; cousins, Neil, Garry, and Jerry; nephew, Daniel (Zoe) Majors; and niece, Ariel Stevens.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Mary Veazey, Ora Stevens, and Mary Kinzie; sister, Amy Tribbett; and uncle, Garry Stevens.
A funeral mass to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 325 E. N. "A" St., Gas City, IN, with Father Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at Marion National Cemetery.
