MIAMI COUNTY, IN – INDOT announces traffic pattern changes to the intersection of State Road 19 and C.R. 500 S.
After a traffic engineering investigation, the decision was made to convert the intersection into an all-way stop-controlled intersection. The goal of the change is to help reduce the number of crashes at this intersection.
The intersection changes are scheduled to take place on or after August 7.
INDOT encourages drivers to use caution in the area while work is done to implement the changes. Drivers should also use caution after the changes are made as motorists work to adjust to the new traffic pattern.
