Deloris Jean Hamilton, 75, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Warsaw, Indiana died at 12:25 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Wabash. She was born on May 5, 1949, in Bedford, Indiana, to Fred and Jean Deloris (McKnight) Chaney.
Deloris was 1967 graduate of Needmore High School in Needmore, Indiana. She married Randal L. Hamilton in 1977; he died June 11, 2007. Deloris was a homemaker. She attended Faith Harvest Fellowship Church in Wabash, and enjoyed craft work, coloring and drawing, taking walks, and watching television.
She is survived by two children, Thomas F. (Hazel) Hamilton of Warsaw, Sandra R. Flynn of Indianapolis, Indiana, six grandchildren; Teonna N. Hamilton, Zachary D. Burke, Alexander T. Hamilton, and Hanna Hamilton, all of Warsaw, Jerry Flynn and Dominick Flynn, both of Indianapolis. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 5, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday, at the funeral home.
