HUNTINGTON COUNTY, IN- A two vehicle head-on collision occurred near SR 5 at CR 900 N in Huntington on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at approximately 2:20 PM. A Chevrolet Silverado was southbound on SR 5 when it crossed the centerline for an unknown reason. After crossing the centerline, the truck collided with a northbound commercial vehicle. Both vehicles were disabled as a result of the crash. The Silverado was occupied by one person, and they were flown to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. The semi was occupied by one
person, and they were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. The incident is currently under investigation by the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office.
