Josette Serene Walls, 52, of Rochester, Indiana, died at 2:42 pm, Friday, September 4, 2026, at Life Care Center of Rochester. She was born on July 9, 1974, in Wabash, Indiana, to Joe Lester Walls and Janet (Bridgewater) Shepherd.
Josette was a graduate of Manchester High School. She worked at Dexter Axle in North Manchester for several years. Josette enjoyed doing arts and crafts, cars, and listening to music especially Slipknot. She was a faithful woman who loved her Lord.
She is survived by son, Stephen (Brittany Adkins) Walsh of Claypool, Indianan, five grandchildren; Hazel Walsh, Ariel Barr, Matthew Barr, Breydon Adkins, and Alayna Adkins, and two brothers; Jarrod (Dolly) Walls of Wabash, and Jeffrey (Laura) Walls of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 11, 2026, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Chris Ponchot officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
