Howard James “Cubby” Savage, 38, of Andrews, Indiana, died at 7:55 pm, Sunday, August 30, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 5, 1987, in Abington, Pennsylvania, to James Raymond Sr. and Charlynn Margaret (Dodd) Savage.
Cubby was a graduate of William Tennant High School in Warminister, Pennsylvania. He was an introvert, and enjoyed cooking, playing computer games, and loved animals, especially his fur baby, Gaelin.
He is survived by his sisters, Janet (Robert) Hudson of South Carolina, and Heather (Jerry) Roggensee of Andrews; niece and nephews, Michael Hudson of Pennsylvania, Eric Hudson, Christopher Hudson, and William Hudson, all of South Carolina, and Sapphire Savage of Texas; and his cat Gaelin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother David Savage.
There will be a private family celebration of Cubby’s life at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
