Sharon R. Leonard, 81, of Elwood, passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Aperion Care in Marion. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 29, 1944, to Edwin and Harriot (Price) Watson.
Sharon graduated from George Washington High School and Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. She worked as a sales representative with Paul Harris. She was a member of the Quilt Connection Guild of Greenwood and loved to quilt with her friends.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Fred Leonard of Elwood; daughters, Lisa Huffman, Ronda (Will) Smith, and Amanda (Robert) Ellis; 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 13 great grandchildren; and sisters, Linda (Melvin) Huffman, and Rosemary (Mark) Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin R. and Harriot A. Watson.
At Sharon’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
