Dwight Liston Walls, 91, of La Fontaine, passed away at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Marion Health. He was born in Caruthersville, Missouri, on Saturday, April 6, 1935, to William and Floy (Hill) Walls. On May 20, 1955, he married the love of his life, Patsy L. (Greer), who preceded him in death on October 6, 2023.
Dwight graduated from Caruthersville High School and Indiana University-Kokomo. He worked as a General Foreman for 40 years with General Motors in Marion. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Dwight is survived by his daughter, Pam Lester of Marion; sons, Jerry Walls of Swayzee, Greg Walls of Newton, NC, Brian Walls of Dallas, TX; sisters, Peggy Nolin of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Carolyn Barnett of Kokomo; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Patsy L. Walls, he was also preceded in death by his parents, William and Floy Walls; and siblings, Wayne Walls, Richard Walls, Mary Walls, and Ilene Gabriel.
At Dwight’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
A private graveside service will be held at Grant Memorial Park.
