WABASH, IN- Beginning Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, the City of Wabash and Gaunt and Sons Asphalt will begin Milling Bent Street from Vernon to Jones, Jones Street from High Street to the dead end, Coble Street, a portion of Middle Street, and Smith Street from the bridge to Carroll Street.
The anticipated schedule is July 23-24 mill and street cleaning. July 27-28 asphalt paving.
Please note: There will be no parking on these streets on these days from 6am to 8pm during construction. Vehicles left on the street will delay the project and may be towed. Please be patient during construction and help keep our crew safe by avoiding the work zone whenever possible. The city is coordinating with Republic Services to ensure trash is collected on the regular pick-up day. Please have totes out by 5am Monday morning, July 27.
