INDIANAPOLIS- Across Indiana, Hoosiers have many opportunities to support neighboring farmers, growers and small businesses by choosing to shop local. From farmers markets to Indiana Grown products, these options make it easy to access fresh, high-quality goods while strengthening our state’s agricultural economy.
From farm-fresh produce and locally raised meats to baked goods, flowers and handcrafted items, Indiana’s more than 200 farmers markets offer something for everyone. These markets are more than just places to shop. They are community spaces where neighbors connect, families gather and local economies grow stronger.
This year, State Representative Ethan Manning supported a new law that prevents over-regulation on Hoosier farmers and local vendors, giving them more freedom to sell their products and expanding access to affordable, homegrown food.
