Glenda M. Huntley, 92, of Marion, passed away at 7:35 am on Monday, June 8, 2026. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 1, 1933, to Thomas and Anna (Craig) McGhee.
She worked at SCM and Wabash Technology. She was a member of 10th Street Wesleyan Church. Glenda was an active member of the Moose, American Legion, and VFW over the years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and camping. She liked going on vacations once each year when she was able. Glenda will be remembered as a hard working and family centered woman who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Huntley of Marion, Felicia (Douglas) Abdon of Bringhurst, Melissa Weaver of Marion; grandsons, Adrian Huntley, William Abdon, II, Cody (Paige) Abdon; granddaughters, Sasha Morris, Kelsy Weaver; great-grandchildren, Ellis, Chloe, Jordyn, Marissah, Finley, Asher, Maverick, Myles, Trinity, Jocelyn, La’Nya; sister, Karen (Randy) Wilkins of Marion; brothers, Phillip (Joann) McGhee of Sims, Carlis (Margie) McGhee of TN; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anna McGhee; sister, Treva Crain; brother, Ronald L. McGhee; and her beloved dog, Scarlette.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Glenda’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel. Pastor Bill Thompson will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory – Marion.
