Gray to retire from Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition

WABASH COUNTY, IN- The community is invited to a retirement celebration in honor of Dan Gray and his 20 years of dedicated service as Director of the Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition. This celebration will be held on June 30th, 2026, from 3-5pm at 808 Manchester Avenue in Wabash. Light refreshments will be served.

Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition President Mike Keaffaber stated, “Dan Gray’s leadership of the Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition has made a lasting impact on the health and well-being of our entire community. Through his work, he has not only raised awareness about the dangers of tobacco use in all forms, but he has also helped create real, measurable change – especially for our youth and families. His ability to bring people together around a common purpose has strengthened partnerships across Wabash County and ensured that prevention, education, and support services continue to reach those who need them most.”  

“Dan has been more than a director – he has been a tireless advocate for healthier lifestyles and a champion for future generations. His passion, innovation, and steady commitment have elevated this work far beyond a program – it has become a community movement.”
