He was born on October 13, 1967, in Marion, Indiana, to Garry L. Gosnell and Mollie Ann (Jones) Gosnell.

Stacey graduated from Oak Hill High School and went on to build a life centered around hard work, craftsmanship, and the simple joys he loved most. He worked as a millwright and was a proud member of the Millwright Carpenters Union. Known for his skill and dedication, Stacey was an excellent carpenter and an all-around handyman who could fix or build just about anything.

He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and often joked that he “wanted to be a lawn mower driver” when he grew up-a lighthearted way of sharing his love for being outdoors and keeping a well-manicured yard. Stacey also enjoyed NASCAR and was a fan of country music, especially artists like David Allen Coe and Kid Rock.

Stacey will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his sense of humor, and his ability to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

He is survived by his father, Garry Gosnell, Sr.; his daughter, Hailey (Chad) Alexander; his beloved grandchildren, Noah, Rowan, and Paisley; and his brothers, Jeffrey (Janice) Gosnell and Garry (Gina) Gosnell, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Ann Gosnell; his grandparents, William and Lois Gosnell and Liburn and Bessie Jones.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Sims Wesleyan Church 309 N. Main St. Sims, IN 46986.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Stacey’s life will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brian Williams officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N.
