GCSO has confirmed that at least one person was injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All lanes reopened around 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to an INDOT alert citing the Grant County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the crash occurred, the National Weather Service issued a Special Weather Statement that indicated road conditions in Grant and other counties in central Indiana could deteriorate Monday night due to scattered snow showers. The agency also reported that the falling snow could reduce visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NWS encouraged drivers to exercise caution when on the road on Monday night as rapid changes in visibility and traction were possible on Indiana\u2019s roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is currently unclear if Monday night\u2019s crash in Grant County was weather-related, though snow was seen accumulating on road shoulders and grassy surfaces in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NWSIndianapolis\/status\/2033471022091923560\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Forecasts the NWS released<\/a>&nbsp;ahead of Monday\u2019s winter weather event suggested that most localities in central Indiana would see snowfall accumulations of an inch or less. The agency predicted some points north of Indianapolis like Kokomo could see snowfall totals of about two inches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indiana State Police reported slick road conditions in both&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ISPPutnamville\/posts\/pfbid0LRuhRYDSd1oVJKA87y7AtHicCvodaheSRUqZDZvKko3cHNWi4LF9pdeZ3Xr8Zsonl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Putnam<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid0Nk25WR2gfEeStzcP7oaWjW98GEqTN2kxTCJ1VXxrJVWrP954CVPGTPGiH88zD6BZl&amp;id=100092121831658\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miami<\/a>&nbsp;counties Monday night.
