Henson, age 61, from Wabash County, Indiana, was found guilty of Dealing in a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, a Level 5 Felony, and later admitted to being a habitual offender on February 11, 2026 in the Wabash Circuit Court following a two-day jury trial.  Jury deliberation took approximately 7 minutes. The case has been set for sentencing on March 12, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The allegations in the case were that on the afternoon of August 30, 2024, Norman Henson sold 50 Alprazolam tablets to a confidential informant for $250.00. The case was investigated by the Wabash County Drug Task Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wabash County Prosecutor Willaim C. Hartley Jr. represented the State of Indiana and the Defendant was represented by Attorney Elden Stoops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sentencing range for a Level 5 Felony is 1 to 6 years with an advisory sentence of 3 years.
