Cassel. She married Edward C. Michalek on April 12, 1969.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Judy graduated from Peru High School in 1966 and attended Ball State University. She enjoyed her career as a bank loan officer at American Trust Federal Savings Bank, retiring in 2010 after 32 years of service. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ed; two sons, Chad (Nikki) Michalek of Greenfield and Adam (Elise) Michalek of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren, CJ, Alexander, Maxwell, and Arden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is also survived by her brother, Stephen E. (Susan) Cassel of Peru, and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John Michael Cassel and Dennis E. Cassel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10am to noon, at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon, with burial immediately following at Mount Hope Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
