The investigation was recently submitted to the Wabash County Prosecutor's Office for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wabash County Prosecutor William C. Hartley, Jr. reviewed the ISP investigation regarding the police action shooting which occurred at 244 N. Crappie Rd in Wabash County, Indiana. After the thorough examination of the ISP reports, statements of witnesses, interview conducted of the officer directly involved in the shooting, the autopsy report, video footage, and ISP crime lab report, the totality of the evidence establishes this incident as a legally justifiable shooting by law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a thorough review of this case, it is clear that officers with the Wabash County ERT Team were justified in using deadly force as it is reasonable to believe that the force was necessary to prevent the perceived threat of serious bodily injury to themselves or the other officers in the immediate area.
