A devoted daughter, loving sister, cherished aunt, and meaningful friend, she left behind a legacy steeped in love and vibrant memories that will echo through the hearts of those who knew her.\r\n\r\nA graduate of Marion High School in 1980, Diane was known for her tenacity and vibrant spirit. She immersed herself in her career at Gen Corp in Marion, where she forged lasting relationships and made her mark on those around her with her warmth and dedication.\r\n\r\nDiane is remembered for her zest for the simpler pleasures in life. She found joy in the exhilarating clatter of bingo balls and the thrill of the casinos, where laughter and camaraderie flourished among friends and family. Her radiant smile was a constant reminder of the beauty in shared moments and the warmth of connection.\r\n\r\nIn her passing, Diane rejoined her beloved family members who preceded her: Franklin D. Mark and Elcene Mark, her caring parents, and her devoted husband, Donald \"Pinky\" Pinkleton. The bonds forged in life transcend into the memories that will keep their spirits alive, eternally mingling with Diane\u2019s laughter and light.\r\n\r\nLeft to cherish Diane\u2019s vibrant memory are her devoted brothers: David Mark, Franklin (Rhonda) Mark, and Greg (Heather) Mark, alongside a close-knit group of nieces and nephews: Jessica Boots, Casey Eddy, Angie (Wayne Rubow) Wimsatt, Jason Mark, Jeff Mark, and David Owens. Diane's legacy continues through her seven great-nieces and nephews, each carrying a piece of her heart within them.\r\n\r\nThe community of Marion now mourns the loss of this radiant soul. Friends and family are invited to gather for a heartfelt Celebration of Life at the Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home on June 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, as they bid farewell to a sister, an aunt, and a friend who brought laughter and comfort to so many.\r\n\r\nAs we reflect upon the tapestry of Diane's life, we find ourselves enveloped in the colors of love that she imparted to everyone she encountered. Her spirit will forever dance in the cherished memories of shuffling cards, shared smiles at the bingo hall, and the gentle embraces of family gatherings.
