Parson, 55, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 2:30 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, January 13, 1970, to Richard Evans and Delores (Jackson) Green. \u00a0She married Derrick Parson on July 22, 2000.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nAfter graduation from Marion High School in 1988, Tracy attended Vincennes University and later graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with an associate\u2019s degree. \u00a0She worked at Howard Regional Health, where she was a medical coder.\r\n\r\nTracy was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. \u00a0She was a very generous person in many ways and loved to give to organizations she felt passionate about. \u00a0She loved reading, watching movies, ballroom dancing, singing Karaoke, and playing board games. \u00a0She always had music playing while she cooked breakfast, as well as around the home as she worked. \u00a0Tracy was very fond of \"date night\" with her beloved husband, Derrick. \u00a0She was very family-oriented and loved her family and friends.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include her loving husband, Derrick Parson of Fort Wayne; fathers, Richard (Brenda) Evans and Oscar \u201cJack\u201d (Lori) Green; daughters, India Elliott of Indianapolis and Alexis Parson of Fort Wayne; god-son, Jalen Gillis of Miami, FL; granddaughters, Amaya Elliott, Aubrielle Elliott, Alivia Elliott, and Aunest Elliott; siblings, Anthony Jackson, Hope Cheri (Orlando) Felder, Rikesa Evans, Rinetia (Sherard) Cole, Jaqueline (Jordan) Hornaday, DeArin (Shannon) Inman, Dontae (Chelsea) Inman, Marcus (Dominique) Parson, Donnell Knight, Lamar Pettiford, Brittany Pettiford, Susan Allen, and Elizabeth Allen; brothers-in-law, Donnell Parson and Richard Reynolds, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Green.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1204 W. 14th St., Marion, IN.\r\n\r\nImmediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Tracy's life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor C.L. Adams officiating. \u00a0Burial will take place at Estates of Serenity.\r\n\r\nMemorial contributions may be directed to Sickle Cell Disease Foundation (scdfc.org), 3602 Inland Empire Blvd.., Ste.
