She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, March 3, 1964, to Thomas and Donna (Powell) McVicker.

Linda graduated from Marion High School. She worked as paraprofessional in the classrooms at Marion Community Schools. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life like crafting, garage-saling, and the thrill of a good game of Bingo. She held deep affection for the people she worked for, treating them not just as coworkers, but as dear friends whose lives she enriched through her kindness and dedication. Her greatest happiness, however, came from time spent with her beloved grandchildren and her cherished dog, Zoey.

Linda is survived by her daughter, April Cox of Kokomo; sons, Zachary Cox, Josh Owens, and Jake Owens; granddaughters, Karmen Thompson, Raimy Cox, Hazel Cox, Trinnite Bovie, Tommie (Jeff Martin) McVicker; sisters, Becky VanNess, Karen (Jerry) Frees; and brother, Dennis (Tammy) McVicker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Donna McVicker.

At the family's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or directly to the funeral home for funeral expenses.

Memories may be shared online at www.nswcares.com.

To send flowers to the family of Linda, please visit our floral store.

<ins class=""
     style="display:block; text-align:center;"
     data-ad-layout="in-article"
     data-ad-format="fluid"
     data-ad-client="0531879237494766"
     data-ad-slot="2870348528"></ins>

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block; text-align:center;"
     data-ad-layout="in-article"
     data-ad-format="fluid"
     data-ad-client="0531879237494766"
     data-ad-slot="2870348528"></ins>

Linda McVicker, 61, of Gas City, passed away at 7:45 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
