Additional reports indicated that gunshots had been fired inside the home.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe preliminary investigation revealed that Michael A. Marr, 30, and Halie M. Thomas, 26, both residents of Peru, IN, had discharged a firearm inside the home, believing there were intruders present.\r\n\r\nFurther investigation revealed that no individuals other than two children were inside the residence at the time of the incident. Multiple rounds were found to have struck nearby unoccupied buildings. No injuries were reported.\r\n\r\nMarr and Thomas were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Miami County Jail. This investigation is ongoing, and no further details will be released at this time.\r\n\r\nAs a result of the investigation, the preliminary charges are as follows:\r\n\r\n- Michael A. Marr, 30, from Peru, IN\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm- Level 5 Felony<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Neglect of a Dependent (2 counts)- Level 6 Felony<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Criminal Mischief- Class A Misdemeanor<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n- Halie M.
