The Academy will host 26 dedicated musicians and groups\r\nfrom across the world, ages ranging from 17 to 32, who will attend week-long programs that take place at the Eagles\r\nTheatre in Wabash, IN. Each week-long program culminates in a live performance featuring participants and faculty.\r\nConcluding each performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with the artists and faculty\r\nmentors. Tickets can be purchased online at honeywellarts.org or by calling the Honeywell Box Office at\r\n260.563.1102. Honeywell Arts Academy programming is presented by Honeywell Arts &amp; Entertainment.\r\n\r\nHoneywell Arts Academy is comprised of three full-scholarship programs for emerging musicians. Led by Artistic\r\nDirector Ranaan Meyer of the GRAMMY-winning group Time for Three and world-renowned faculty, each week-long\r\nprogram takes place at the Eagles\u2008Theatre and culminates in a live performance featuring participants and faculty.\r\nFounded in 2020, the Academy is an expansion of Wabass, a music program established in 2008 for double\r\nbassists. The mission of the Academy is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where ideas are free\r\nflowing between all. This creates a revolving door of expertise, a philosophy the Academy refers to as the \"sharing of\r\nknowledge.\"\r\n\r\nProgram Director of Honeywell Arts Academy, Emily Meyer, states, \u201cHoneywell Arts Academy is positioned at a\r\nunique point in an artist's path. In theory, they have gone through grade school to high school with some sort of\r\nmusical support system, whether that be an enthusiastic schoolteacher, private music teacher, parent, or all the\r\nabove. During and post-college, the reality of the world and life as a musician sets in. The Academy provides that\r\nsurge of motivation, artistic and entrepreneurial tools, professional opportunities, and a community of like-minded\r\nartists that set them up for success.\u201d\r\n\r\nThe Academy is designed to provide the future generation of musicians the opportunity to learn from one another,\r\npush boundaries, and connect with both local and industry communities, with world-renowned faculty to propel their\r\nartistry forward and springboard their careers. Resonance features faculty mentors Pianist Peter Dugan\r\nand members of the GRAMMY-winning trio Time for Three - Nicolas Kendall, Charles Yang, and Ranaan Meyer.\r\nConcluding the performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with the artists and faculty\r\nmentors. Tickets start at $10.\r\n\r\nSoundboard Live \u2013 Fri., June 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eagles Theatre\r\nSoundboard scholars are international pianists with a focus on standard repertoire. Soundboard is led by faculty\r\nmentors Matti Raekaillo and Peter Dugan as they stretch these classically trained musicians' boundaries to include\r\njazz, funk, and more. Concluding the performance, guests are invited to a meet and greet reception to mingle with\r\nthe artists and faculty mentors. Tickets start at $10.\r\n\r\nWabass Live \u2013 Fri., June 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eagles Theatre\r\nWabass scholars will dazzle you with the double bass. Faculty mentors Eric Larson, Ranaan Meyer, and Hal\r\nRobinson curate a wonderful evening of musicianship and personality.
