Boucher, born on April 29, 1952, in Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, in Leesburg, Indiana, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family as he went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.\r\n\r\nRussell was a beloved husband to Anna Boucher and a devoted father to his children: Joshua (Stefanie) Boucher, Erica (Derek) Cunningham, and Kristina (Zac) Rush. He cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, including Sophia Rush, Bruce Rush, Anna Rush, Meilani Rush, Lincoln Boucher, and Drew Boucher. He is also survived by his siblings, Rebekah Wyatt, Raymond Boucher, Ramona (Bob) Smithson, Joel (Tammy) Boucher, Chris (Susan) Boucher, and Jim (Annette) Boucher, along with several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.\r\n\r\nRussell\u2019s passion for education and technology guided his career as a teacher in Industrial Technology at Marion High School, Mississenewa Middle School, and Huntington School Systems. Beyond his teaching, he was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses including Closetec, Better Storage and Kitchens, and also sold campers. His professional endeavors were driven by a desire to serve his community and instill knowledge and skills in his students.\r\n\r\nA proud veteran, Russell served for twenty-five years in the United States Army, retiring as a Captain. His military service reflected his dedication and commitment, and he carried these values into all aspects of his life.\r\n\r\nRussell was a man of strong faith, who loved the Lord and expressed this love unabashedly throughout his life. His warmth and kindness touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.\r\n\r\nVisitation for Russell A. Boucher will be held on March 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, located at 1202 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. A funeral service will take place on March 14, 2025, at 11:30 AM, followed by burial at Marion National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the life he lived.\r\n\r\nRussell\u2019s departure leaves a profound void in the lives of his family and community.
