He was born on June 2, 1951, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Bertha (Hill) Smith.\r\n\r\nRex was involved with the Pathfinders Day Program. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and puzzle books, buying magazines, and sitting in his recliner covered up holding a book. Some of his favorite things were the color red, and Diet Coke. Rex gave the best hugs, and loved all the staff at Pathfinders.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Curt Alexander officiating.
